Charles Rudgard - has over 15 years of experience in consulting and leading multi-discipline teams to create IT solutions. His skills span the business spectrum from managing IT teams to business planning, integration management, brand development and marketing. He has particular experience and interest in new start-ups.
Biography
He joined Garlik as part of the founding team and in his role as Launch and Services Director at Garlik he lead the launch team to create a revolutionary online personal information product built on the world’s largest & fastest semantic database. Garlik’s pioneering technology involves searching, storing and matching vast quantities of sensitive personal data.
Garlik is acknowledged as being one of the first companies in the world to develop a paid for business proposition built on semantic web technology and has won a number of prestigious awards including - Top 10 Netxploratuer 2008, French Senate and in 2008 Garlik was made a Technology Pioneer 2008 at the World Economic Forum, Davos.
Previously, Charles was part of the Programme Management team that created Prudential Banking and then its successor Egg. He continued to work with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operations Officer at Egg for a number of years after launch. He has also advised the UK Government on the London 2012 Programme. He has consulted to the Executive at the Nichols Group, Iceland and abroad at Czech Telecom, Albert Heijn, Petrovsky Bank. He is also interested in design and created his own companies Jonathan Charles Handbags and Makilee Stadium.
